The version of humanity that exists in the Live Chat Cafe Universe. This race of mortals...really isn't that important to the story.
Situation[]
Mankind has spread across the stars under the banner of the Human Regency and other interstellar Empires which compete with each other, usually under the banner of Aristocrats, and their alliances, by treaty and/or marriage, though not always. Under these Star Dynasties, mankind is often fighting itself, as much as other alien races/empires.
While mankind maintains a general level of technology, their most advance relics have fallen into the stuff of legend. The end result is, that besides the 'vain faith' mankind often worships its own technology, which often leads to reckless transhumanism, among the more zealous.
New Demographics of Humans[]
- Planet-Borne: Noted for their lack of genetic, or cybernetic enhancement, Planet-Borne are 'basic' humans but make up the majority of mankind.
- Space-Borne: Humans who adapted over generations, or were gene tailored for live in space and are more resistant to its dangers.
- Tube-Borne: Designer Babies.
- Cyborg: Among the technology cults, children are often augmented at birth, a process that continues as they age.
Space Professions[]
- Military
- Marines: Infantry trained to fight on board space ships.
- Mobile Infantry: Infantry which makes use of power armor, for combat on various different planets and environments.

- Technician: The men and women who keep ships and stations running.
- Medic: It's the future and there are more diseases to deal with.
- Robomancer: Experts of robotics. Mankind makes use of numerous drones, from servants, pleasure, protocool to even security and military androids/drones.
- Mechanic: Same as before, only for hover cars and cybernetics.

- Operatives: Governments agents for anything from theft, private investigation, diplomacy, assassination etc.
- Navigator: Special Cyborg Tank Born, individuals who guide ships across hyperspace.
